On returning home met Dr. [[underline]] Lihme [[/underline]] of Grasselli took supper at Mouquin Downtown. and

then went to see a play adapted from the Chinese called "The Yellow [[strikethrough]] Jackquet [[/strikethrough]] Jacket".  Home with 11:40 P.M.
Jan 9.  Here all day, dictating etc.  At 4 P.M went to meet [[underline]] Fishel [[/underline]] and [[underline]] Binney [[/underline]] with May by appointment.  [[underline]] Binney [[/underline]] late and seemed under influence of drink when he showed up in his fur automobile coat.

He fell asleep at beginning of our conference and started snoring, until Fishel shook him awake.
He started then talking and talking and explaining rules of logic etc etc. the whole performance
