Feb 1. 1913. Went at 10 AM to [[underline]] German Lloyd [[/underline]] found cabin at [[strikethrough]] [[?]] [[/strikethrough]] $125. inside but single berth. This settles my trip.

At office of G. B. Co found De Muth who came to talk further about intended selling [[strikethrough]] of [[/strikethrough]] to others etc. Then Williamson with whom I took lunch went to Chemists Club and took short nap.

meeting for [[underline]] Nichols dinner [[/underline]] then Committee on Patents of Am. Inst. Chemical Engineers  Grosvenor, Wagner and myself present.

At 7.PM. Beefsteak dinner in Rumford Hall, sat next [[underline]] to Hasslacher and Bilhuber. [[/underline]] Left at 10:45 P.M. The new Station of N.Y Central is being opened to night. 

[[underline]] February. 2.  Sunday [[/underline]] Afternoon Miss Evans came here and I kept dictating until [[underline]] Rossi arrived. [[/underline]] He tells me of [[underline]] serious troubles [[/underline]] with his [[underline]] molding mixtures [[/underline]] rusting the steel molds while Condensite has no such effect. Has tried eliminating
