Have had indisposed bowels for the last two days which bother me decidedly, specially in view of fact that people all the time urge you to eat and drink and believe in doing you honor in doing so. [[underline]] If they only let you eat what you want and just as much or little as you need. [[/underline]] Came home very tired.

Have not had a chance to write a word to anybody.
Feb 15. At 10 A.M at office of Dr. [[underline]] Ephraim. [[/underline]] Same old shabby building with several etages, dreary stairs etc. and this for one of the first and best known and best paid patent [[arrivals?]] in Germany!

Discussion all morning with Weger & Lebach ^[[underline]] Ephraim [[/underline]] is^ Little undersized man with bald head and long moustaches and rather pedantic in his conversation. Gives me impression of not being entirely sincere and of that is sophisticated tendency of lawyers who wants to impress others with his profoundness.
Went for lunch with [[underline]] Lebach, Weger [[/underline]]
