Went to Ernst Excelsior Hotel newly [[first letter is an overstrike of some sort]] rearranged.  Excellent room with excellent bathroom everything modern and up to date for 10 mk per night. March 12. Up early.  Feel fine.  fine weather.  [[underline]] Dr. Quinele [[/underline]] called at noon with his fine limousine took lunch with me at hotel then drove me to [[underline]] Leverhusen [[/underline]] at racing speed over cobble stone road.  Took about 20 minutes to reach the works Huge installation.  Showed me around everything.  Imposing work well organized and splendidly situated . Then met

[[underline Duisberg [[/underline]] who was very friendly altho' Geurele told me he had headache.  After short general conversation we talked business matters as to [[underline]] Townsend Cell Duisberg said they were ready to settle matter. [[/underline]]  Told me the price they offered was practically the same as Billiter Cell was offered to them by Siemens and; that the latter very recently had made [[strikethrough]] refer [[/strikethrough]] new offers.  Told them their price was somewhat lower than what I thought would be right.  That my price was $15000 but that I proposed to split difference.  [[underline]] This was quickly accepted Duisberg shook my hand and seemed much pleased, so was I. [[/underline]].  We then discussed a few secondary matters relative to sending our men and exchanging experience etc. also as to forwarding one or two
