July 1. Very hot day. at 5[[superscript, underlined]]30 [[/superscript,underlined]]took Baskerville at City College then May and Mrs. May at their apartment motored them up here to take supper. Remained till 11. P.M. observing various matters among them Progress of anesthetic methods. Warm night
July 2. Still hotter.[[underlined in red]] Directors meeting[[/underline in red]] Creevey, Hasslacher and Peters. Short meeting.  This is our [[red underline]]bannermonth[[/red underline]] again. Sales [[red underline]]$ 29600[[/red underline]]. Our output is growing fast everybody seems satisfied. Took lunch with [[red underline]]Pehuski?[[/red underline]] at Drug Club, then supper with him at Ratskeller of Woolworth building. Then went to [[red underline]]Chemists'[[/red underline]] Club where summer dinner was just over. Was greeted with applause. Low of Cutler Hammer Co Handed me two, samples of Bakelite one yellow (ammonia) the other colorless (sulphite) which he has obtained and which he tells me
