July 3. A few days ago got copy of the brief presented in [[red underlined]]Brown [[/red underlined]] cases and have spent considerable time in writing my comments on same Miss Evans copying all this together with the briefs to give Townsend and Foersterling complete file, for reference. Weger seem to be pessimistic on the subject because judges did not decide immediately in our favor.  I believe the course adopted by the judges during more practical demonstrations entirely warranted.  [[red underlined]] Dentist [[/red underlined]] placed two [[blasts?]] of enamel in my front teeth.

Miss Evans here in morning to take dictation.  Wired to Townsend to push vigorously the [[red underlined]] Nicholas case [[/red underlined]] - no delay!
July 5  Warm sultry day.  Spent all day reading  Münsterberg's Americans Thunderstorm and rain afternoon.
