July 15. Beautiful cool day.  Got [[underlined]] plans and specifications for new building [[/underlined]]  from Moore.  Dictated comments on same and sent by Special Delivery.  [[strikethrough]] Took [[/strikethrough]] motor to Buicks's place and left cylinders of Buick car there to be overhauled.  Brought Dr. [[underlined]] Penniman [[/underlined]] of Baltimore and a certain Mr. [[underlined]] Laporte [[/underlined]] from same City to Snug Rock for supper.  They want obtain exclusive license for [[underlined]] cork composition[[/underlined]]

July 16. Again beautiful weather.  At 10 A.M left with Motor car for Perth Amboy over Staten island.  Celine went with me to New York.  Swallowed sandwiches in car.  Arrived at office at 1:15 P.M.  [[underlined]] Conference about contemplated building for Gen. Bakelite Co. [[/underlined]] with [[underlined]] Jean [[/underlined]]  Dubois, Foersterling, Moore & Gordon.  Got along very well through about 5 P.M.  [[strikethrough]] For [[/strikethrough]] Hurried inspection of plant.  Mr. Register of [[underlined]] McCargo [[/underlined]] at office.  took him along in my motor car, and he took supper with me at University Club discussing prospects and plans for [[underlined]] Bakelite Packing. [[/underlined]]  Home about 11:30 P.M
