Took supper at Mouquin then went to see Grand Opera Aida at new theatre 62d street excellent performance $2 [[superscript/underlined]] 00 [[/superscript/underlined]] highest seats
Coming home found cable from [[underlined]] Germany  [[/underlined]] telling they have resolved to compromise with [[underlined]] Braun [[/underlined]] Rather timid crowd!
Sept 19.  Here all day.  Took supper at Mouquin [[underlined]] Celine[[/underlined]] in New York for her [[underlined]] lecture course. [[/underlined]]  Evening went to see a play called Damaged Goods.  excellently played.  Translated from the french.  The play deals with
