Sutherland tells me he has a process which he invented and conceived before entering [[red underline]] Zinsser's [[/red underline]] service and has Prof. Brown of Cornell as witness. Says his process is different from that described in [[red underline]] Weichmann's [[/red underline]] patent just issued Told him would recommend him for position at Royal Baking Powder Co. Advised him to apply for patent if he had a process of his own for Bakelite and if there was anything good into it he could then later offer it to us or to others on its own merits He says he is acquainted with patent of Pollak etc. Says his method avoids use of ammonia.
