Jan 27.  Home all day in lab and dictating as usually.  [[underlined]] George [[/underlined]]   162  told me his story of his cold trip to Munroe etc   Striking picture this afternoon when [[underlined]] George[[/underlined]]  and [[underlined]]  Celine [[/underlined]]  sitting in parlor on sopha were studying french together.  George with his moustache, docile and attentive reading french from a book in his mothers' lap.  
Jan 28.  At 3 P.M went to Robert Kenyon's office to meet him [[inserted left margin vertically]] At 5 P.M. went with Rowley to Carl Bitter's Studio to confer in relation to Dr. Loeb bust. [[/inserted left margin]]and Toch preparatory to my testimony in Toch's infringement case.  Met Hitchcock there.  Afterwards went to Chemists Club  May is ill in bed - Grippe.  With Toch went for supper to Mouquin's then to Hammerstein Vaudeville Show.  Boresome performance.
Jan 24.  Here all day.  Evening at 8 P.M went to fetch Skinner of

Jan 30.  Here all morning.  After lunch # went to Hooker's office to meet [[underlined]] 3 hours [[/underlined]]  [[underlined]] Albert Hooker [[/underlined]]  who leaves tomorrow for Germany.  [[underlined]]  Charge 3 hours.  [[/underlined]]   Then went to VanderBilt hotel to meet [[underlined]]  Dr. Weston [[/underlined]]  who made long tirade of his past experience with Edison Co and General Electric Co.  still wants to expose them etc.  Then dinner of [[underlined]] Inventors Guild: [[/underlined]]  [[strikethrough]]Got on [[/strikethrough]] Rather lively discussion Sprague and Weston participating most a then was at Delmonico's.  In nextroom Bellevue ^ [[insertion]] Medical College [[/insertion]] alumni are having their annual dinner.  Home in Leonard's limousine.
