Supper at Chemists Club. Log fires there.  Home 11:20 P.M.
Feb'y.12. Lincoln's Birthday.  Very cold - 22° C.  [[strikethrough]] mornin [[/strikethrough]] at breakfast. No snow.  In house all day
Feb 13.  Very cold.  To New York in afternoon to put my [[red underline]] securities [[/red underline]] in bank which I have released from [[red underline]] Seligsberg. [[/red underline]]  Sent to [[red underline]] Townsend [[/red underline]] his 75 shares of stock of [[red underline]] Gen. Bakelite Co [[/red underline]] for which I have paid [[red underline]] my check [[/red underline]] and which he has to refund me.  Went to University Club then [[strikethrough]] met Celine [[/strikethrough]] to Chemists Club where I met Parson, Peters and Voigt.  Then joined Celine at Station and we went together for supper at Astor House then to see a play. "Little Water on the Side" by Collier.  Snowy evening drove home in taxicab.

Feb 14. [[red underline]] Violent blizzard. [[/red underline]] Two and three feet snow. and much wind  Traffic interrupted.  [[red underline]] Gotthelf succeeded in bending [[/red underline]] [[strikethrough]] the new [[/strikethrough]] rods of the new [[red underline]] transparent C. [[/red underline]]  
Children arrived late at supper from Munroe ^[[visit]] had left there early in morning trains late etc.
Feb 15. (Sunday)  Home all day.  Evening [[strikethrough]] Mrs [[/strikethrough]]
[[red underline]] May [[/red underline]] and wife here for supper  Gave him brief of [[red underline]] Nikolas suit [[/red underline]] to read which he took home with him.
Feb 16. [[strikethrough]] Poor sleep. Up early.  Bright and cold weather [[/strikethrough]]  Here all day.  [[red underline]] Practically snowed in.  [[/red underline]]
Feb 17.  Poor sleep  Up early to get to court to [[red underline]] Brooklyn. [[/red underline]]  Motor car much difficulty ploughing thru snow in garden.
