to make there the first run for transparent goods. Old factory looks much more orderly and everything seems less crowded

March 7. Home all day. Then to [[red underline]] Inventors Guild. [[/red underline]] It was announced that I was [[red underline]] elected President [[/red underline]] so I presided. Ward Leonard retiring I made a little speech dwelling on his services. Robbins and Henry Hewitt as well as Carlton Ellis present. Discussed action on recommendations by letter of Commissioner [[red underline]] Ewing [[/red underline]] in relation to credit for [[red underline]] obtaining new Patent Office building. [[/red underline]]
March 28. Rain. Went with Albert to take new Buick car.
