H. Benjamin who approached me some time ago to consolidate with Zinsser and Condensite?  On evening went to fetch Max. Toch at his office then took supper together at Claremont restaurant.  Home about ten.
June 25. Still warm but more pleasant.  Resin oil tried by Gothelf and by Hamlin.  That man [[red underline]] G. W. McMichael [[/red underline]] of electric light Company [[red underline]] again here. [[/red underline]]
June 26.  [[red underline]] Gordon [[/red underline]] here this morning to learn about results

of new impregnation and method of using it.  Gave him samples.  Renewed his engagement as per contract but before doing so [[red underline]] told him that in case he desired a better job elsewhere he could take it. [[/red underline]]  He seemed anxious to keep his job here.  Afternoon Rossi came showed him results of new impregnating liquid for coils as I had shown Gordon but explained to him details of preparation and discussed methods of manufacture.  He stayed for supper.
June 27.  [[red underline]] Usui [[/red underline]] here this morning  Explained him properties and uses of new impregnating compound. and he took detailed notes.
June 28. (Sunday) Had planned trip to Catskill Mountains by motor car but it had rained much during night so remained undecided
