F combining seed all day. R took soy beans to Baltomore in morn left 3.15 & then to W.D.C. for Dr Dobson in morn & to firehouse in aft & night. colder. Frank to Bank & store also to Hicks in aft. N worked 1/2 day.

Wed 10
R over to plant to haul gravel to BW. in morn, out in aft & night. moved soy beans. & Franklin hurt his back. N got in wood & cut wood. colder.  Bob Via

Thurs 11 
R out in morn aft & stayed out at night. F to Dr in morn about his back. F & I over home in aft for short time. snow in aft & at night. real cold. N brought in wood.

Fri 12. 
F to Dr in morn. still cold about a inch of snow. R came home about night stayed at fire house last night. F & F to Dysons in aft. N didnt work. R out again for night.

Sat 13 
Adina took Franklin to see Dr down to [[Acake?]] in morn. R home for about five minutes in morn. F out to do dealing in morn & aft. Brandt & Mrs Neal about dinner time. Frank Ward. Henry, Billy & a friend of Henrys in aft to go gunning. cold snow still on the ground.

R here for dinner he went to church in morn. snowed all day long. F & A here to dinner. Mary Tim & Timmie came in from N.C. about 4 [[underline]] 30 [[/underline]] in aft. real cold.

F & R clipped wood & delivered 2 loads & took hay to Williams in aft. Mary T & T to Conners in aft. R out at night. F & A to Sears Roebuck at night. bitter cold snow still on ground
