N worked some in tob in aft. F & Jack Dyson to Morningside to look at pump about night. hot & dry. | 15 [[line]] Thurs 9 R took loads of hay to meadow in morn. F watered tob in morn & with Jack Dyson in aft to get pump. R started with another load of hay & broke down up by Hicks in aft. got Dysons truck & took the hay up there. rain in aft & night. | 20 [[line]] Fri 10 R to Baltimore for Southern States gone all day. rainy all day. F & F to B.W. Waldorf & Marlboro in aft. R to fire house at night. Mr Barkley in morning. F & A out at night N stripped tob all day. | 21 [[line]] Sat 11 R to Marlboro to work for Southern States 1/2 day. F & F took me to Katies & they went to Waldorf to look at truck in morning. F. F & R to Waldorf in aft & got truck F & R brought it back. & Frank stayed down there got home 7 oclock high. Brandt & Mrs Oneill in aft. R to fire house at night. N stripped tob all day. rain in aft. | 21 [[line]] Sun 12 R over on Eastern shore to fire parade in aft. F & R down on place in morn F. A. & I to see Uncle Charley in aft rainy aft.
