"For Prize Contest.

What Burpee's Seeds Have Done for Me.

Last year my husband had a garden 40 ft by 50 ft. and the following vegetables were canned and sold from that patch of ground.

26 qts. Matchless & Peach Tomatoes,
20 " [[Ditto for: qts]] Boston Pickling Cucumbers,
10 " [[Ditto for: qts]] Burpee's Green Pod Beans,
 5 " [[Ditto for: qts]] Brittle Wax Beans,
 6 " [[Ditto for: qts]] Beets.
2 pks. Green Tomatoes.

Then for the table we used quite a few of those vegetables also Early Prize Head and Iceberg Lettuce carrots, celery, parsley and cabbage.
One bushel of beets & carrots were put in sand for winter use.
One crate of onions, too.
