[[underlined]] For Prize Contest What Burpees seeds have done for me [[underlined]]

Last winter I was confined to my room by a very painful serious illness. At the end of the second week I was losing my hold on my disposition. One morning my husband brought me a Burpee large leaved Colens. It was about six inches high and the colorings were exquisite. All day I spent trying to find the most beautiful leaf and forgot part of my pain.

That night one of the most beautiful leaves gave me my good Pixie, and all through my illness my Pixie brought me back to nature and health.

When the pain was worst Pixie showed me the rainbow of hope in my plant, and I could always follow Pixie to the foot of the rainbow.

Each new leaf brought me nearer to nature and faith in God, and so I learned my lesson of obedience from nature. If a leaf of my plant was bruised it suffered with me, (one was by accident), and taught me how I had abused my health when I had it. What my Colens did for me, may be called what you will for some of no call it nature,
And some if no call it God.
