was the first of the garden catalogs to come and in spite of my bitter experience of the past two years, I found myself longing for a garden full of the lovely things pictured in your annual. My husband noticed how I concentrated on your catalog evening after evening and finally said, "For [[underlined]] Goodness [[/underlined]] sake, you aren't going to buy yourself another failure, are you?" That was the spur I needed. Being a bit stubborn I decided we [[underlined]] would [[/underlined]] have a garden. So I sent in our order for seeds and laid out the ^[[insertion]] garden [[/insertion]] neatly, cultivating as soon as it was up. Everything grew and grew and now we have the nicest garden.

Our self respect and confidence have been restored a hundred percent and we now feel capable of correcting our other mistakes.

Very truly,
(Mrs) O. A. Feldness,
Elsie, Ore.
