For Prize Contest.
My wife's folks bot seeds from "Burpee" over twenty five years ago, then when we were married I bot mine there, which has been for the last thirteen years. I have no trouble in selling tomatoes or anything raised from their seeds as the customers say "You had such fine flavored tomatoes last year, we want some this year."
At the Butler County Fair I have taken first premium on largest and best red, yellow and purple tomato, and best display, also on mangoes, cabbage, wax beans and pickles from Burpee seeds. This was a pleasure as well as profit to me.
You can't depend on lots of seeds advertised, but you can [[underlined]] always [[/underlined]] depend on "Burpee Seeds".
I have derived pleasure in buying seed from Burpee's, because we have better and larger vegetables from their seed than any other we ever bought, we know what we are buying from
