there in walking about the woods, feasting on blackberries, and finally doing nothing.  We drove home by the other road and again Bill pointed out the views, and amused us in different ways.
I took a walk on the cliffs late, met a good many people.

August 31st 1890. Sunday.
Monday Alfred and I again appeared at the hunt which was on Middleton four corners.  This is a pretty long ride but then we had made up our minds to go, so we did.  The death was in a field a short way from the farm, and there were a good many more carriages than one would have thought so far off.
[[strikethrough]] Sybi [[/strikethrough]] I did nothing special on Tuesday or Wednesday but drive and bathe.  Wednesday I met H. H. driving.
Thursday Sybil drove with me.  We went to Polo which was not very exciting.
