At 2.30 in the afternoon I went back to school for a physical examination. I am 4 ft 9 1/2 inches high and weigh 82 1/2 lbs. It began to snow and it kept up all the afternoon maybe all night.
I bought a hockey stick for 25ยข over at Ciccone's and I burned my name on it. I got out my sled and hitched on the grocery and had a delivery ride for about 2 hours around town

Rained last night and then it stopped and froze. Sidewalks all ice and places everywhere covered. In the afternoon I went coasting in various places. Nutley Park hill is all covered with ice and you go about 35 miles an hour on the steepest part. Some of the sleds go father than a bridge. Dan has got a pair of skates, double runners. You ought to see him skate just outside the house. I skated outside the house for a while too. Equitable building in N. Y. burns. Five dead and $25,000,000 lost. wind 64 miles per hour.
