[[preprinted]] 98 Sunday Apr 7 [[/preprinted]] EASTER Cooler to-day. Nothing special doing all day. At 3.30 I went to Sunday school special service and we handed in our mite boxes. Rain and wind took play during the afternoon. I went up to Jack W's and we had a concert. I banged pencils on the banjo like a drum & we set the phonagraph hollering and singing out of the window. At three o'clock there was an egg hunt in the fields around the Sunday School. I found seven and ate six. Quite a mob went savaging and digging after them. A few kids swiped a big bunch after they watched them being hidden because we were shut in the Parish House.
