Arrived in Fall River at 5.30 a.m. Lloyd and I got up, saw around until at 7 oclock we ate a banana. We took an early train to Tiverton Rhode Island and waited 2 hours there for Pierce's stage to take us to Sakonnet. We arrived in Sakonnet at about 11.30 and came on the stage with Alpheus Geer. We went to the Goodrich's house in Sakonnet which is quite large and had lunch. We looked around in the afternoon and I staid at Goodrich's over nox. I staid [[strikethrough]]for[[/strikethrough]] until June 28 there anyway because I did. I lost the key to my trunk and this diary was in it for a week. I got hard up too.

I took a walk with Will Goodrich in the morning, Sakonnet's fool. In the afternoon Alpheus Geer, Will and I cropped a skiff over in the pond and chased around some baby ducks for a while.
The Sinclaires have a new house back of the George's in front of the Goodrichs.
