Windy day. Had two swims to-day - one early in the morning and the other off the skiff in the harbor with Bill. In the afternoon Jack & Lloyd made fudge and put it out under Jack's window on the roof to dry while they waited inside. Meanwhile, Bill and I sneaked up outside, took the fudge, put in the coal box and skipped. In a few minutes they [[strikethrough]] came [[/strikethrough]] went running around the house in and out after the us and the fudge. We enjoyed watching them until we went up to Bill's house where they caught us and thought we ate and had it.

I had the greatest luck in a long while to-day. In the morning Bill and I went golf ball hunting and I found 6 and he 3. Two of mine were quite new and the rest pretty good. I found five in about 10 minutes along the backstops of the tennis courts. In the afternoon, Lloyd, Bill and I went fishing [[strikethrough]] down [[/strikethrough]] up the river in Lloyd's skiff a little ways. I caught 8 tautog, Lloyd 2, Bill 1. Most of mine were small and none good size. We went for a swim off the wharf afterwards.
