I got up at 5.45 A.M. and went out on deck on the Plymouth as we sailed down the L. I. Sound to N.Y. At about 7:30 we docked in the city ate breakfast and went to the Grand Central Depot just catching the electric train for New Rochelle. I bought some shoes at N. R. and then we went up to the New Rochelle High School to get in. We were registered and then we went to the house the Morse's were living in. It was about a mile and a half from the village and Miss Rumford & Dr. Glasbrooke were there. In the afternoon we went to Hudson Park. We walked over and

Wednesday Sept 11

saw our new house building which we are going to move in soon. [[strikethrough]] We [[/strikethrough]] I went to the N.R.H.S. for the first day this morning. It is a fine big school and I took French I, Latin II (Caesar), plane geometry and English II. Thunder storm in afternoon.
