Of course I am going to school right along now but I don't want to. After lunch I went down and watched our new house. I went down to Hudson Park on Echo Bay on the L. I. Sound for a swim at the bathing beach. I bought a 75¢ suit and went in. There was quite a crowd in and I swam out to the float twice. The water is a good deal warmer than in Sakonnet and there wasn't any wind. You could see across the Sound 10 miles [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] clearly. Execution Light and the Long Island Sound Liners.

Went for a walk with myself all the afternoon, I watched the Morse's and our house building. I walked all around Quaker Ridge.
