I went down to Hudson Park in the afternoon to see an aero-hydroplane. I waited around until about 4 o'clock when we all saw an aeroplane way off up high in the air over the Sound coming from Long Island. Finally it reached Echo Bay and circled around lower & lower until it set on the water in the north end of the bay. After ^[[insertion]] which [[/insertion]] it was towed out and started but the motor failed and it drifted onto a mooring & a rudder busted so it was towed to the beach and pulled up. I helped. She's going to repaired and is going back tomorrow a.m. It was a Wright hydroaeroplane [[strikethrough]] Ther [[/strikethrough]]It carried 2 men.
