Tomato Plants, they are very weak having been sown in a flower pot. I planted them in a box to harden and some Beet seed.

[[underlined]] Wednesday 8. [[/underlined]] Mr. Graeff & Lady didnot come today. I fixed the Easel that was rather out of order. Mary retouched my copey of uncle James fruit piece for Charles. 
[[left margin note]] [[co]]lt. [[/margin note]] The Mare Fanny dropped a colt today.

[[underlined]] Thursday 9th. [[/underlined]] Mary her Mother and I went after breakfast to Potte. in the carriage, took up Mary's paints Easel &c to Mrs. Fishers where she wanted to put in a back-ground to a picture. Mrs. P and I went on to Brother Georges dined there spent the evening at Jame's & lodged there.
[[underlined]] Friday 10th. [//underlined]] after breakfast went to [[strikethrough]]James[[/strikethrough]] Geor Pattersons and dined there returned to [[strikethrough]] Geo[[/strikethrough]] J.P. took supper at brother Burds, took Josephs fruit piece home, Joseph & his wife are much pleased with it. spent the evening at Georges.
[[underlined]] Saturday 11th. [[/underlined]] Went down town with Mrs. Peale to the tailers, ordered a new Coat, then to the shoemakers got measured for boots, Mrs P. for shoes, went to her tenant [[?]] got [[?]] money on acc. of rent, called to see Mr. Russel William Patterson who returned from the Potomac sick, found him better. Dined at T. Walkers went down town got a number of tools & articles at Mr. Thompsons, then to Mrs. Innis's saw her, she goes to New York on Monday next, then to Mrs. P. Mantumaker, Mary joined us at Mrs. Fishers and got home just at dusk. Met on the road several in carriages that had been to see us, they were entertained by Louisia.

[[underlined]] Sunday 12th [[/underlined]] As I had invited the Revd. Mr. Pryer to preach at our church and then dine & spend the afternoon, Mrs. Peale and I went to church then Mr. and Mrs. Pryer came home with us & left before supper. Mr. & Mrs. B. Pott spent the afternoon here.

[[underlined]] Monday 13th. [//underlined]] I repaired Fannys Crib, mended 2 tin Coffee Potts & the wash boiler for Louisia.
Avaline who formerly lived with Louisa came back this morning, so that Louisia has commenced housekeeping again.
