[[underlined]] Sunday 3.[[/underlined]] Edward and Louisia went to church and found it closed, they then went to Mr. Wolf's church, his brother preached they there found Mary who came from Potte. the day before and stayed at Mr. Levans, she came home with them.

[[underlined]] Monday 4.[[/underlined]] I painted all day on N. 96. chiefly on the female and the young ones.
Mr. Levan sat to Mary this morning, Sarah came with him. Edward went to Potte. very early this morning, got home about 3 oclock.
Eddy Patterson came down for Mary as Matilda was to have a Party this evening. Edward & Louisia did intend going to Reading this afternoon, but he was detained by company.

[[underlined]] Tuesday 5.[[/underlined]] I painted all day on N. 96. This afternoon Eddy Patterson, Emma and two of her friends came in the sleigh. Edward and Louisia were out, they went 2 miles below Orwigsburg and come back by S. Haven.

[[underlined]] Wednesday 6.[[/underlined]] I painted all day on N 96. James Patterson & son Edward brought Mary home just before dinner, they dined with us at Edwards. This evening Eddy came with Miss Brook & Miss Beck.

[[underlined]] Thursday 7.[[/underlined]] I painted all day and finished N. 96. Mrs. Graeff was to have sat to Mary but the weather was so cold that she didnot expect her.

[[underlined]] Friday 8.[[/underlined]] I glazed a sash for the feed room door, minded several articles in the kitchen with solder.
Mrs. Graeff sat to Mary this morning.
Eddy Patterson brought in the sleigh, his mother, Revd. Mr. Lewis the pastor of St Jame's church Potte. & Mrs. this afternoon.
Geoe. took up a load of baled straw & brought back small coal for kitchen stove from St. Clair.
