[[strikethrough]] Friday 7th. [[/strikethrough]] This morning Albert came from the city to stay a few days. Got a letter from Mary saying she may possibly come by the 6 oclock train in the afternoon of tomorrow.
Albert went with Burd this morning to Tacona and this afternoon to the Poor-house &c.
I attempted to paint this morning but failed in the attempt

[[underlined]] Friday 7th. [[/underlined]] I didnot attempt to paint today as the heat was too much for me. I varnished the Black Hamburg grapes N. 123, Strawberries N. 126. and Cakes and wine N. 128. Albert rode out to Tacona this morning with Burd and went home this evening in 7 oclock train.
[[underlined]] Mary [[/underlined]] came after I went to bed

[[underlined]] Saturday 8th. [[/underlined]] I rode out with Burd about noon, it being very warm and not feeling strong I therefore indulged in lassiness.
[[underlined]] Sunday 9th [[/underlined]] I got up this morning feeling very languid after breakefast rode out with Burd and felt much better for the ride. 73˚. calm s w, clo 10. __. 68˚. calm, clear.
[[underlined]] Monday 10. [[/underlined]] I spent a bad night, having an attack of the coleramorbus, a mustard plaster on my stomach and Mary rubbing me I became better and threw up bile the debility lashs me all day and diarea.
[[underlined]] Tuesday 11. [[/underlined]] I am still very unwell and very weak.
[[underlined]] Wednesday 12. [[/underlined]] I got up this morning like another being slept well and had no diarea during the night.

Mary went after dinner to Philadelphia took an oval canvas to have a photograph transferred on it of Dr. [[Ekkert?]] for his widow.
[[underlined]] Saturday 14. [[/underlined]] I rode out with Burd all the morning, went up the turnpike after dinner engaged a stretching frame 19 by 27 to begin a copy of Uncle James's white watermellon for Burd. 68˚. ___. ___.
