[[underlined]] Wednesday 18.[[/underlined]] I painted all the morning on No. 110 Charles came this morning & Mrs. Faels Judge Patten and daughter
This evening Mary, Emma & I went to Mr. John Bells and spent a delightful evening. On our return home found Burd & Burdie here at after 11 oclock.

[[underlined]] Thursday 19.[[/underlined]] I painted all the morning on N. 110 and finished N. 111.
Burd and Burdie went to Pottsville this morning Mrs. Stewart Patterson called this morning. Mary went shopping with her. Anna Peale called also Mrs G. N. Tatham, Mary and Emma took tea with her and to go to a concert this evening together.

[[underlined]] Friday 20.[[/underlined]] I painted all the morning on N. 110 and retouched N. 111. The day has been so cold that I didnot venture out.

William Patterson & wife called this morning.
Mary and Emma went to the Germanum this afternoon Emma went to her brother Williams to stay until Monday. It has been snowing all the afternoon

[[underlined]] Sunday 22.[[/underlined]] I have spent this day nearly alone as Mary went to sunday school & then to church both morning and afternoon takeing her meals alone, however I have spent the day agreably by reading & studying.

[[underlined]] Monday 23.[[/underlined]] I painted all the morning, having begun a copy of Mary's Strawberries & basket. N. 112.

[[underlined]] Tuesday 24.[[/underlined]] Mr. Moran gave us a lesson this morning of ocean, & approaching storm &c.
I painted before he came on No. 112.
This afternoon Dr. Morten called to see Mary, who was out, he appeared to be much pleased with what I shewed him, but it was so near night that he would come again
