[[underlined]] Monday 20th. [[/underlined]] I painted all the morning on N. 107 116 & 117.
This afternoon Louisia and Fanny called. Mary & I had on our things to go to see them as they came in. after they left, Mary & I took the carr in Walnut to the depot in Chesnut & then took the Chesnut St car to the Academy of Fine Arts to see the collection of pictures that is to be sold on 27th. got home in time for tea.

[[underlined]] Tuesday 21. [[/underlined]] Mr. Moran gave Mary her lesson on her Partridge Landscape, present M Haselton, Mrs. Christie, Anna Peale & Anna Sellers. I painted but little. This afternoon Mary & I went up to see Anna Dunken, Margarett & Maria Peale and spent the evening there.

[[underlined]] Wednesday 22. [[/underlined]] I painted all the morning on N. 119. Edward Hubley and Edward & Louisia were here this morning he has just returned from Oil City was there during the great freshet, he was highly gratified with his tour. Mary is spending the evening at Miss Thorps  Emma Patterson came from Norristown at 12 oclock today. Charles and Harriet spent this evening here.

[[underlined]] Thursday 23.[[/underlined]] I painted all the morning on N. 119. This afternoon I walked to the Academy of Fine Arts and then to Franklin's, and spent the evening there. purchased an umberrella $3,25. as it commenced to rain.

[[underlined]] Friday 24.[[/underlined]] I painted all the morning on N. 119. Mr. Failes called this morning while Mary was out.

[[underlined]] Saturday 25.[[/underlined]] I painted all the morning on N. 119. Mr. Williams sent Mrs. Towers's gold frame for the Landscape $24. box $ 1.50. Mary wrote to Mrs. Towers that it would be sent by the Express on Monday or Tuesday next.
[[underlined]] Sunday 26th.[[/underlined]] I finished my account of our family for Mr. Lossing. Mary has been absent the most of the day at church.
