[[underlined]] Monday 27.[[/underlined]]  I painted all the morning on N. 119.
Mrs. Hubley, Fanny & Louisia and Edward Hubley came this morning, Edward came this morning our farm says that Edward was going to underdrain the garden to make it drier for it is too wet especially in the winter & spring.  
Mr. Robert Potts has engaged a bunch of Malaga Grapes a copy of the one that Edward has only on a larger canvas at $20.  Mr. O'Neal called to see Mary this morning about his house in 9th street, willnot take less than $10,000 for it.
I sent this afternoon by the Express Mr. C. Tower's Landscape framed to Pottsville.

[[underlined]] Tuesday 28.[[/underlined]]  Mr. Moran gave Anna Sellers a lesson on a sea cost scene with a violent storm &c. present Anna Sellers, Anna Peale, Mrs. Hasenton.  Emma Griscom called.
Edward came from home this morning, he with Louisia, Fanny & Edd. Hubly came this afternoon to see us.
I didnot paint any today Charles called this morning.
They are planting evergreen trees in the square opposite which will much improve the walks and appearance of the square.

[[underlined]] Wednesday 29.[[/underlined]]  I painted all the morning on N. 119.  
Edward, Louisia, Fanny A.E. and Edd. Hubley called today, and again just before night, they talk of going home tomorrow morning.  Charles and Harriet spent this evening with us.

[[underlined]] Thursday 30.[[/underlined]]  I painted all the morning on N. 118 and 119.  This has been a rainy day, Mary and I spent the evening at Mr. G. N. Tathams

[[underlined]] Friday 31.[[/underlined]]  I painted a good part of the morning on N. 118 and finished it, and also on N. 119.
It has rained all day and too dark to paint much. fixed a chest lid with hinges for Mary.

[[double underlined]] Saturday April 1st 1865.[[/double underlined]]  I painted all the morning on N. 119.
Brother ^ [[insertion]] George [[/insertion]] came this morning & dined with and went emediately after with Emma to Norristown, giving up her room.
