filled with people - black and white, young and old - of all ages - a near mixture here if ever I have seen it. We go to the Parrish house to register, name, address, whom to notify in case of accident - housing - meals will be supplied if we stay - hours - where for so many people - The love that comes forth is unbelievable, I have never had such an experience - we can't get in the church from the front it is so crowded, we make our way to the back and in to an ante room next to the choir stalls - Nuns - priests ministers, laymen - negro girls - boys -women - reporters - newsmen - photographers - Bishops - old women - children - the singing is beautiful

we go into an office and there is Dr C.T.V. Vean - a tall elegant man - there is Mr Williams - Mr Farmer - Mr Bevel - and others I do not know names of at the time - we try of find Dean Unsworth but cant. We return to the anteroom - the church is filled with people - the welcomes are overflowing - the windows are filled the glare of the TV lights and the stain glass windows make one of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen - the profusion of negroes, jews, whites, chinese, nuns etc is like being in heaven - for this we feel if ever we have seen heaven on earth this is it at Browns Chapel -
