realizing that I was passing sentence - but the next thing I heard was the unfortunate devil being chased round camp, begging for mercy & wailing. However it availed him nothing as he was seized and stripped & held down behind my tent while the heapara laid in 7 of the best, when I cried "Enough". I am bound to say he took it well after he was once caught & I hope it will be a good lesson to the rest. Judging by the laughter & kelali - the rest of the safari thought it was a first rate jest.

The water is not much to boast about but 10 miles out & 10 back are no joke with a long day in between. I have got 2 fresh trophies - Impala & Rhino, so I cannot complain.
