Transcription Notes:
@phil_terry - glycerrhiza = glycyrrhiza @phil_terry - pretty sure Eutanea is right having looked at other Bailey pages, but can't find a source ... (@siobhanleachman) Might be misspelling of "Eutania" as in snake species see http://digitalcollections.nypl.org/items/510d47d9-5754-a3d9-e040-e00a18064a99 found Diospyros virginiana (Common Persimmon), I assume that's what he meant by "Diospiros." Also found older references to Lepus alacer. Think he probably meant Castor fiber (Beaver) when he wrote just "Fiber" though I'm not sure why the distinction between "Castor" and "Fiber" in the list. -@meg_shuler @phil_terry - Thanks Meg, agree with all and changes made. @siobhanleachman - reviewed and managed to solve some of the [[?]].
