Painted A.M. Luxombourgh after lunch

Collorossi's to sketch class just before dinner for a couple of hours.

After dinner I went with Miss Power & one of the German girls the Role & [[underline]] Loud [[/underline]] to the end of the forty hours services [[underline]][[strikethrough]] for [[/underline]][[/strikethrough]] the perpetual adoration, in L'eglise St. Sulpice. These services are going on constantly in some one of the churches in the city [[strikethrough]] all the time [[/strikethrough]] so that incense is always burning and it was the turn of this church to have a parade. Decorations were very nice, much more dignified than Xmas Eve. The procession wound around the whole church. Much incense and a great deal of farce & frills.

French lesson first thing this morning, have changed them to nights for the future.

Broke my English pipe. Too bad

Painted morning & part of afternoon. Madame remarked that I was always late to lunch. I agreed at once.

[[underline]] Colorossi's [[/underline]] again, with Miss Sargent this time.

French all the evening. Misses Power & Somerville came in later on and sat a while.

Did quite a lot on my painting today.
