 Just like a spring day at home. Wrote Mr. Gay to see if he would come to the studio. 
 Went to see how [[strikethrough]]Twacll[[/strikethrough]] Twachtman was., found him much worse two doctors & a nurse.  They say if the treatment of the other physician had continued a little longer they would have been unable to save him. 
 Glad they have the nurse better both for him & for his mother.

 Twachtman is much better Went there after lunch and saw him for a little while. 
 Hall and I went to Durand Ruel's this morning. There are three new Degas' there, one of some jockeys on running horses, its pretty fine to and one some blue ballets skirts and girls is nice also. 
 Painted this afternoon on the little green mummy. Got a petit Blue from Mr Gay this noon and he will come to look at my things tomorrow at half past two. 
 Yes  I went there again tonight 
 Looks as if I might sometime finish that mummy thing but I aint predictin nothing. Not me.
