Slept a trifle late.
Took a walk and visited some photograph stores
Lunch.
Louvre after lunch.
Made a call at 70
Got a letter today from the Kid it was over a month making Paris.  Must have been on the Etruria as she was disabled
Twachtmans back in bed again I am afraid he tried to do to much, Dysentary.

  Louvre this A.M. The place is full of Americans now. Guess they must be coming thick
  Painted on Neidemeyer and went around to see Hall for a while before dinner to tell him how much I thought of General [[Loring ?]].
  Expect Father was much pleased at Nortons having to go back to the museum
  Ate a pork chop this noon and it certainly put me on the burn good & fair.
  Went out with the Frenchman this evening.  Say but they run amuck about the easiest I ever saw.
  This lets me out on pork chops and no dream either
