The Whistler of his mother is a beauty and no mistake refined, dignified, low toned and altogether handsome. Best Whistler to my mind that Ive ever seen.
Sargents dancer, Carmencita I liked better than I expected to although he evidently did a hustle on it in places
The Homer is very fine color in places and comes pretty near suggesting moon light and Wood Island Light took me a long way from Paris.

Took a walk after dinner as far as 70 for a few minutes Am about to write towards America now.
