[[preprinted]] March SATURDAY, 29 1902. [[/preprinted]]
Luxembourg this A. M. on leaving met Twacthman and family in the Garden.
This afternoon I painted the heads onto two signs for a tailor across the way for which I am to receive one pair of breeches, short and cut to fit, partic. at the knees. Say old Messonier cant touch me, what? There is another joke to day also. I have discovered Sargents secret. He has twenty one colors on his palette, as he paints so rapidly he hasnt time to mix 'em. I bet that draw a quiet smile from him, and others to.
Miss Sargents English [[underlined]] lady [[/underlined]] friend - There was a frenchman at a soiree, he spoke English perfectly, that is like Americans and everybody was so sorry for him (the English) that he had been so unfortunate as to learn it in America. Pretty fine that. What? This is my busy day?
