All days look alike to the people here but we only work morning and afternoon.
On my doorway in the a.m. and down the river on a new stunt after lunch. It's a corking little town and worthy of more than a week. Still about 200° in the shade.

Worked on doorway & street this a.m. ate a big lunch & worked on me castle in Spain. Got a kid to lug it home & I went over to where Twacht was worked & we scaled the castle walls and went in. Climbed some of the towers and peered through the portholes. Looked into some underground places, discovered a black cat and her kitten. Then we went up onto the wall and watched the river, the sunset across the city and the half moon up the gorge. It was very beautiful indeed and the wind blew fairly cool after a hot day.
Letter from Mother, card from Miss Ferris who is in Rome and note from Dr. Griffiths has got his sheepskin from Dublin rotunda and is on his way home.
