Painted on the grey road & made arrangements to borrow the village carpenters glue pot to put a coat on the canvas that I bought yesterday.
After lunch Harvey & I watched the sisters winnowing some straw, the threshing is finished and then went & chucked quoits. Then back and glue "gooed" my canvas. Then down for a bath. It was windy & cool but water was fine.
Dinner & then a walk in the village & later to the lookout for awhile.
Its been raining every ten minutes all day

Tried to work on the tall trees this A.M. Got caught in a nice shower, and that what we have been having all day rain sunlight, grey and mixtures in between. We made a ball and played hand ball between the showers for a while after lunch. pitched quoits awhile and went bathing. Sun came out great as we were coming home
Took a long walk walk tonight after dinner in the moonlight over to a near by village & back by the sea.
