  Slept like a top. Showed Miss Sargent the stuff.
  Went to the Bank. Got a very much needed hair cut and met the fellows for lunch at Bondets. Like the place alright
  Miss Sargent & two American girls a Miss Boner and Miss [[left blank by Henderson]] and we three went to Durand Ruel's House. He has some fine fine paintings and thats no dream.
  Grubbed and met MacPherson across in a café. Lot of other Americans also and Cooper & Johnson from home. Miss Souther sent her regards
  This new room they have put me in at 19 is something like decent and not so much like a tomb
  Got letter from Mother and another invitation to go to Mrs [[Wells ?]] Seine et Oise.

 Just a year ago today I left the old sod. Well Ive seen and learned more than this page will hold
  Went to the Pantheon to see the Chevannes. They look better all the time. Cooper was along went to the Luxembourg afterwards
  Lunch and over across the River. Met Hoover on Bonapart glad to see him just back from Italy after eight months.
  After dinner at Bondets we four went to the Gaiety Montparnas. Im not long on that show
  Got my new trousers from Crok's and they fit as if they had grown on me. Guess they are worth the money allright.
 Adios my first year
  How changed things are going to be at home. But this business is good for it all.
