[[preprinted]] August Monday,18 1902. [[/preprinted]] To the tailors this a.m. and got him to make some good looking measurements for those same old breeches. Then to 70 Rue Madame and left Aldens [[underlined]] Rain coat [[/underlined]] vest etc. which he left in Madrid. Luxembourg and home and wrote family. Bought a merchaum pipe, a little fat feller today to cheer my self up. Blew myself to a few cheap Japanese prints also. Got a little canvas and try a sketch of the pension door etc. Around to Alden's again but no more news Dinner. Took a short walk to the river in the moonlight and took this German fellow along. Bought a small canvas Lunch. Over to Alden's Studio. Called on Mr. Shirlaw. Got a little Dago to sit for me. "Petit Blue" from Mr. Gay comes tomorrow at eleven to see stuff Evening in.
