Gallery - painted some but was interrupted to much it must not occur again. After lunch I went to the exhibition of the "Berlin Secessionists" and seven etchings from James McNeil and a dozen or so from Zorn were the saving graces of the show which otherwise was a mess.
Evening in. Had a beer and pipe and heard much German spoken.

Galleries this A.M. Pictures are still in the same place.
Painted a little on the Helm and it looks "besser".
Bank but no letters.
Learned a verb and went to Niedermeyer's and I had a five oclock and then to Opera to hear Miss Farrar again in Julia. Better than before. When I got back was roped in to help christen the new cafe which was opened today just under us. I did my best ay up setting a big "Münchener" on the clean table cover and we all moved up one. Later - Turned in.
