[[underline]] Fossae [[gitu?]] cranial cavity [[/underline]] - Compared with [[underline]] Eumetopias [[/underline]], the anterior cranial fossa is remarkable inferiorly for its extension [[strikethrough]] posterior [[/strikethrough]] posterioexternal; [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] [[insertion]] ^ also for the [[/insertion]] oblique posterior boundary, due to [[strikethrough]] the [[/strikethrough]] a thickening of the internal parietal ridge. The middle fossa is restricted externally from the same cause. The shape of the posterior fossa is not determinable exactly, on account of defects in the skull, but it appears to have extended outward less than in [[underline]] Eumetopias [[/underline]]
