Rolfs meals are certainly an excuse to over eat if anything is. Clarissa writes "I have Mrs Mexia quite "housebroken" -don't wait meals, even when she is in the house---after she had cold meals alone a few times she has found it possible to get in almost on time." I'm certanily glad for I have felt distressed about burdening the Rolfs with her. She had a letter of introduction from Merrill, so would have been invited there in any case. Dr. Rolfs writes that she is doing good work collecting. She certanily has every convenience for work, [[?]] free board, good American room, bath , etc. and use of mules and saddles.
