He was busy taking the bathy thermograph [[circled]] raising and lowering [[/circled]] ^[[insertion]] and rais. [[/insertion]] that he did not get the plankton net episode but wants it in his picture series. So, we shall have to pose for it today. The bathy thermograph is a torpedo shaped gadget towed astern which registers the temperature from surface to bottom on a gold plated pc. glass - a curve on a depth scale
