Thursday March 5 - wired Corinna to-day
Jack about the same - but more out of his head - and he had a disturbed night last night - I of course dont sleep much for hearing him groaning or talking 
I took supper with [[?]] & [[?]].

Friday - 6
Jack's audition shows little or no change
- Pageant affairs going on well - 
I lunched at Mildreds - with other company.
- Had a pleasant interview with Mr Carter in the afternoon. 
Sat with Jack a while later - and took supper with Johnson - Oswald Jack - Balliette and the 2 Beaties at their apartment. 
- On my return found Jack not so well. 
- What a stuborn case his is. 
- Saturday March 7. 
No special change in Jack's condition   Had a charming letter about him from Tony Navarro.
- which I answered by wire to-day. 
Made final arrangements at the office about getting actors etc for Cannes
Mr Carter telephoned me that he had decided to let O'Connor go down to Cannes with me which will be fine - he is a remarkably fine pianist and will be a great addition to the show. 
Went to see the "Ambulance Service
men do their show "Lets Go" which was very elaborate and exceedingly good - the cast I've seen I think - remarkably good dancing. 
Genl Pershing was in the next box -
